About

Overview

This project is a TTRPG campaign with a homebrew Call of Cthulu system.

Ran by the Character and Worldbuilding Guild student club at the University of Melbourne for its members.

It begins around Week 3, and ends Week 12, weekly sessions online.

The Campaign

The Between is a world settled upon by lost transmigrators seeking a way back to their respective worlds.

Each semester unfolds a new chapter of this shared world.


You play as such a character, an OC from one of your own worlds.

Termundus IV - Present Day

After Nil recovers his strength from the events of Lin Village of Termundus III, in secret he gathers an elite group of transmigrators to travel into the western seas.

For whatever reason, Nil has gone behinds the back of the ruling Committee, but word reaches them soon enough.

Another group of transmigrators is sent in tow by the Committee, this is where your OC enters.

Termundus III - Lin Village

A group of transmigrators awake in a strange rural village having forgotten their own names. Their surroundings are hazy, an invisible force restricts them together in this place called Lin Village.

With fellow lost expedition leaders, who seem to be unrestricted by this haze, the group must rediscover themselves again, and solve the mystery of this isolated settlement.

Termundus II - Foggy Isles

An expedition team of transmigrators is recuited to explore the southern unmapped region of The Between, yet disaster befalls them as the Adam's Deck is lost and they become struck in a timeloop on the Foggy Isle.

The transmigrators must cautiously explore the devastated ilse to discover a means of escape without losing their mental and physical health to the dangers of the fog.

Termundus I - Northern Artics

With the disappearance of their fellow Committee member, Nil, the Committee continues their search for him, having sent an expedition of transmigrators to the northern artics.

Yet disaster strikes, the expedition group is left stranded on a desolate landscape. But in exploring, they discover the ancient ruins of a civilisation long past. Not only, but remnants of experimentation, and supposedly a portal by Nil, which reunites them back to their vessel, the Adam's Deck.

World Tree Discovery

The first transmigrators soon discovered the World Tree on the central island of Termundus after their arrival. From their, they began to establish civilisation within The Between, and eventually The Committee was made to lead and govern the transmigrators until they found a method of returning to their worlds.
